Naomi Denby – Senior Physiotherapist, BSc, MCSP, PGC
Naomi has worked as a musculoskeletal specialist physiotherapist for 10 years and has acquired expertise in exercise rehabilitation and hands-on manual therapy working with patients with varying musculoskeletal conditions.
Since graduating in 2007, Naomi has continued to further expand her skills and knowledge through regular CPD as has completed numerous training courses over the years including the Foundation Acupuncture Course in 2011 and she achieved Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Musculoskeletal Clinical Practice at Northumbria University in 2012.
She has completed all 3 parts of the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) Matwork series training and has passed her instructor examinations (theory and practical) and is now a fully qualified APPI Pilates instructor. This enables her to offer 1:1 pilates sessions and to set up and run group classes under the APPI accreditation.
Outside of physiotherapy Naomi tries to squeeze in keeping up her badminton skills, having previously represented England at youth level; and practices pilates herself as she personally found it very beneficial ante/postnatally. She often incorporates factors of her pilates background into her treatments believing that core strength is imperative to injury prevention, rehabilitation and achieving high levels of function. Oh and she also has 3 young boys to juggle!
